Hi!!! NÃO POSSO CRER!!!! No ano passado vi pela primeira vez no youtube os teus vídeos e fiquei espantado com o dulcímero, que desconhecia por completo. Fiquei tentado em comprar um, mas confesso que não tenho muito tempo para aprender... Em Penedono (vila medieval, com um bonito castelo http://www.cm-penedono.pt) temos anualmente uma feira típica da idade média e seria bom ter um dulcímero a brilhantar os dias, para além das gaitas de foles e tambores, que já há. Gostava de ver um concerto ao vivo e NÃO ACREDITO que as Dulci Girls estiveram em Janeiro em Vila Real!!!! Eu vivo em Penedono, cerca de 100km a Sudeste de Vila Real!!! Que pena!! Certamente não terei a mesma oportunidade de vos ver!! Quando regressam a Portugal?

Hello, I would really love to teach myself to play on dulcimer. When I've been in Bavaria a taught to play on "hackbrett" boy in my au-pair family and I fell in love with it. I didn't even know that is more dulcimers over the world and when I saw your website it's just stunning how you play on it :) I tried play on it some of czech traditional songs and oh it was great. Is it possible to send dulcimer from England to Czech Republic or is better to visit you? Hi Dizzy, have just come across this beautiful instrument whilst looking for inspiration for medieval music for end of year recital. Would love to get one and start learning how to play this.I am studying at UCC Cork ireland and they do an ethnomusicology Degree and Im sure would be interested in this instrument. I would love introduce it to my college but would be worried about getting proper lessons here in Ireland maybe we could chat further?

Every time I have guests over I play a little to calm their curiosity and answer their questions. Dear Dizzy,
I´m from Germany and my father showed me your "Dizzy Jig" on YouTube. Somehow my father thought this kind of music could touch my heart - and what can I say, he´s wright ! I think that the dulcimer sounds like angels voices. I would love to play the dulcimer. I play the sopran flute since 3 years now but I´m also interested in playing other instruments like piano or dulcimer :-))
When will be your and Emily´s performance at the Britain got talent show or has it already taken place ?
To be honest my father helped me a little to translate my words because I´m 10 years old and I´m learning English since 1.5 years now.
Next week I will talk to my music teacher because I´m playing the flute in the Orff-circle of my school. A dulcimer could fit there perfectly. Let´s see, and perhaps I will have to convince my father to buy a suitable package for beginners.
